Andre Orandain

Andre Orandain brings a practical, quality-focused approach to vocational training resource review, shaped by his experience across instructional design, compliance validation, and quality assurance leadership. His work focuses on strengthening how training and assessment materials are structured, reviewed, and refined before they are used in vocational training environments.

He began his VET career as an Instructional Designer, developing assessment tools and learning resources for units of competency delivered under accredited vocational training programs. This gave him a strong understanding of how resources are built from the ground up, including how unit requirements are interpreted, mapped, and translated into practical training and assessment content.

Andre later moved into quality assurance and compliance leadership, where he managed validation workflows, supported quality review processes, and helped teams improve the consistency of their work. His experience also includes reviewing resources in response to ASQA audit concerns, developing review standards, training team members, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Through his combined background in instructional design and quality assurance, Andre helps support resources that are clear, consistent, and easier for trainers and assessors to work with. His organised and detail-focused approach helps strengthen the overall quality of vocational training materials across different development stages.
