Karis Baco

Karis Baco brings a learner-centred approach to vocational resource development, shaped by her background in psychology, behavioural therapy, and early childhood education. From her role at Compliant Learning Resources, she contributes to learning resources and assessment tools that are structured, practical, and easy for trainers and learners to work with.

Before working in the Australian VET sector, Karis supported learners with different developmental needs and created individualised learning programs. This gives her a thoughtful understanding of how people learn and how content can be made clearer, more accessible, and more meaningful.

Karis has also taken on project leadership responsibilities, supporting and coaching learning content writers, helping manage assessment tool development projects, monitoring project progress, and contributing to process improvements. Her experience gives her insight into both the content development side of training resources and the coordination needed to keep projects moving efficiently and consistently.

Through her work, Karis supports the development of resources that are clear, organised, and shaped with learner needs in mind. Her background in behavioural science, education, and instructional design helps her contribute to training materials that are practical for delivery and meaningful for learners across vocational training settings.
