Steps Forward for RTOs
RTOs need to revise their curricula to integrate updated qualifications and units. This may include updating training materials, assessment strategies, and retraining instructors. RTOs should:
- Update Scope of Registration: Add the updated version to your scope of registration.
- Monitor Transition Period: Ensure learners transition to the updated version within the 12-month period.
- Manage Deleted Products: Allow learners in deleted qualifications or units to finish within one year for skill sets and two years for qualifications.
- Add New Qualifications: Apply to include new, non-equivalent qualifications and units in your scope.
Aligning your program with these updates ensures RTOs deliver industry-relevant, high-quality training that boosts employability for graduates. This proactive approach enhances the reputation of RTOs as providers.
